Terms of service

This document is a starting point written for a Nigerian SaaS. It must be reviewed by qualified Nigerian counsel and adapted to the operator's actual processing before launch. Publishing it does not by itself make the service compliant with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 or other laws.

These terms govern use of NaijaReception AI, provided by NaijaReception AI. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your business.

The service

NaijaReception AI lets businesses configure AI receptionists that answer enquiries using information the business approves. Live telephone features depend on third-party voice providers and their approval of your use case. We do not guarantee any sales outcome, call volume or uninterrupted availability.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information, prices and policies, and keep them up to date.
  • Use the service lawfully, including data protection, consumer protection and telecommunications rules.
  • Do not use the service for spam, harassment, deceptive practices or unsolicited marketing calls. Outbound calling and campaigns are disabled by default and require separate approval.
  • Inform callers about recording where you enable it, and honour their requests.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and manage your team's access.

Prepaid credit and pricing

  • Credit is purchased in Nigerian naira and debited for actual usage at the rate published on the Pricing page at the time of use.
  • We may hold a temporary reservation on your balance while a live call is in progress; unused amounts are released when the call ends.
  • Promotional credit is shown separately, is used first, has no cash value and is not refundable.
  • Refunds of unused purchased credit follow the refund terms on the Pricing page.
  • Calls stop when your balance cannot cover further usage, subject to the provider's call-control capabilities.

AI limitations

AI receptionists can make mistakes. They are instructed to use only approved information and to offer a human follow-up when unsure, but you remain responsible for reviewing leads, requests and transcripts and for confirming orders or bookings with customers.

Suspension

We may suspend accounts for non-payment, suspected fraud, abuse, or legal requirements. We will tell you why where we lawfully can.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost sales.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
